    I already tried that and ended up with a badly sprained ankle. From then on I decided to exercise mostly in the water to avoid injuries and stay safe. With sharks to keep me from getting too lonely.

  2. “The body responds quickly,” he said. “The brain, on the other hand, takes training.” Yeah, sure. His definition of older is different than ours! My sister-in-law recently fell three different times. Her doctor told her that as we get older our bodies don’t adjust as fast. We need to make demands on them more slowly.

    I’ll stick with my own playground. I love it!

    good grief charlie brown.
    just reading about it makes me nauseous.
    the marine’s grandson does parkour. he just turned 14 last saturday.
    that’s the only age group who should even try it in my book.
    just one fall on the back of one’s neck. that’s all it takes.
    a vegetable. and for what?
    no thanks.

  5. Sounds interesting, but I sure don’t like risking injury. But when I go for a walk these days, I often add walking along things where I have to balance.
