Parts of the USA is all agog with excitement about the solar eclipse.

I haven’t seen the sun at all the last few days.

It has been raining non-stop here in Pune the last two days.

  1. The partial eclipse here made the clouds a bit darker, but no complaints. We had a bit of rain, too!

  2. I’m one of those people in the US all agog! Thankfully, the skies stayed clear here today for the eclipse.

Congrats on the rain. Monsoon, I suppose?

Eclipse was a wonder — 89% here, had some clouds, but when the sun went behind the clouds didn’t need the eclipse glasses. The next eclipse here is April 8, 2024, when the path of totality goes right over us in Dover, Arkansas — solar eclipse totality: 4 minutes, 3 seconds.

  5. I experienced a partial eclipse during the 70’s, and it didn’t change my life, or have any effect at all on me, so I’m unappreciative, I guess about all the fuss. I think I’m in the minority, though! Right now, Rummuser, we would love a bit of your rain! Send some over—the trees and flowers need it!

I enjoyed the eclipse experience though we had only 60%, but I followed across the country via media and tech.

  9. we don’t need the rain, we get a lot of very mixed days at times – right now we are having a sunny week (no moisture at all for at least 4 days) with the promise of all sun tomorrow, possibly Saturday….
