  1. An excellent clip. I think the main message that comes out of it is – Don’t believe any photos of women you see in adverts. They’re all phoney, they’re all digitally enhanced and “adjusted” every which way until they bear no resemblance to the person photographed. A great comment from Cindy Crawford on her own photos – “I wish I looked like Cindy Crawford.” That says it all.

  2. crazy but a part of life – just so many vulnerable & gullible people being sucked in – about how beautiful you should look – never-mind the fact that Photoshop which most of the viewers would know of, has the biggest imput into it all…

  3. wow.
this is what my own book is about rummy. the book i wrote and illustrated in 2005 and had begun to think would be ‘outdated’ today.
i see sadly that it is not.
raising a daughter in this world’s environment today would be a challenge . . i mean raising her with a real sense of her own worth as a human being first. the media is everywhere.
thanks for this. i may yet get that book out there. you have given me more hope!

  4. Isn’t this really a woman’s problem ? Men live in the real world ( not the airbrushed/photo-shopped glossy world ) surrounded by real 3D women – befriend them , date them , love them , hate them , whatever for what they really look like amongst other things .

  5. Yeah – CC is a smart cookie – and directly descended from Charlemagne – LOL – and yay Kate Winslet –
