My friend Pravin gets married today to Simple at Calcutta. Due to unavoidable reasons, I am unable to attend and I have Pravin’s understanding for my inability.
Pravin has been having quite a tumultuous time the past few years with his career and also his personal life. It looks as though his life is finally beginning to settle down and the first good thing that is happening is this wedding. I am sure that many other good things will happen as days go by.
He left for Calcutta yesterday evening and I sent him this message.
“Making a living and making a life often point in opposite directions. Wisdom lies in choosing the right direction as appropriate for the time. Congratulations, blessings and best wishes for your new journey”
Interesting news . Always glad to hear what you’re up to–or not up to.
Thank you. In this case, I am just the innocent bystander. It is Pravin who is up to something new!
Congratulations, Pravin!
I’m curious why you couldn’t make it, R. Yes, I’m very nosy. I call it curiosity. It does make life more interesting.

I had a bit of a mishap three weeks ago and I need to be accompanied by someone when I go out of the house. Going to Calcutta in that condition is not advisable.

He will land up here in Pune with his bride by the end of December Tammy. He has promised to. I shall of course give them the best wedding present they will not be expecting.
Sorry that you missed this celebration. Sometimes ones good wishes are all that can always be there.
I love your quote. Reminds me of a favorite of mine, “We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give.” Winston Churchill

RE your reply – Wisdom lies in choosing the right direction as appropriate for the time.
Would not any decision be the right decision at that particular time?

Now, that opens up another huge topic of free will. Shall we just say that if the intuition is followed without hesitation, yes, it would be the right decision.
Thank you so much Uncleji and Thanks a lot to everyone in the below comments who wished me here.
I am coming there soon, no doubt (oh yes I have to book tickets for that).
