“Your brother is your first male friend in life”. Not at all. He isn’t. Particularly if he doesn’t exist and/or is a lot younger than you. Too much romanticizing of sibling relationships.

As you know I have four brothers, two older and two younger. like Padmini, My eldest brother holds a special place in my heart.

Thank you Tammy. When I prepared that post, I was remembering you and the Marine.
I wish my experience was that wonderful. Maybe because my brother was 10 years younger it did not work out for us all that well. Nice sentiments though, even if not true in some cases.
I know of other similar cases and that brings me to the old saw – humans are nuts!
I didn’t know that I would go viral!! Yup…you can’t choose siblings…they are there, period! Love you and bless you!!

Thank you. Good relations with siblings makes all the difference. I know of cases where the relations are not cordial and that could be very distressing.
