It would be a device that would enable mankind to satisfy all possible cravings and still remain healthy and die painless deaths.
(And no, I don’e mean exercise.)
I hope that you enjoyed reading my take on this subject which was chosen by Shackman for the weekly Friday Loose Bloggers Consortium where five of us write on the same topic. The four other bloggers who write regularly are, in alphabetical order, Ashok gaelikaa, Maxi, Shackman. Do drop in on their blogs and see what their take is on this week’s topic. Since some of them may post late, do give some allowance for that too! Ashok too is having prohlems with his blog being down and may or not participate this week.
Sounds great! Lots of luck.

That was “IF” I could invent CM! It is hopeless. I have no intentions of ever starting. But it is nice to speculate.
I get your drift, Ramana. Except I am not being carried along its underlying current.
If I were on the design team for your device I’d strongly recommend to take away all desire for “cravings”. Makes life so much easier. And surely in line with your Buddhist leanings.

I knew that someone will come up with that and I am rather surprised that it is from you!

A good single malt works for me.
Cheers!

Gosh, I wish that I could help with a definition Grannymar. The nearest I can come to that is to call the sensation that you feel for toyboys as craving!
That is by no means a craving.

Thathaasthu! Or, So Be It!
Well, I think the best thing would be for everyone to understand and appreciate each other and put an end to all the hatred and prejudice. Failing that, your own wish is a good one, especially to die a painless death without years of chronic illness.

Yes, if your wish came true, there will be no need for mine.
