There are days that I wish the roll was empty already.
I bet that if truth be told, all of us have days like that!
I love my life right now and the time goes zipping by. As I’ve already said, I keep telling Andy don’t mess it up by letting anything happen to him. I agree with the sentiment, treasure the happy times, they act as cushions when life gets tough.

I try not only to treasure happy times, I try to make all my time happy. Mostly, I succeed because by and large, it is an uncomplicated life.

I think whether life is going too fast or too slow very much depends on your state of mental and physical health. If they’re okay, you probably want to keep on living for a while. If they’re crumbling, you might want to be gone as soon as possible. At the moment my health is fine, so a few more years, however fast or slow, will do me nicely.

On my last Birthday I was sure I was only 67, then one of my Granddaughters told me I was in fact 69!!! Life is going far too fast for me. Some days are very painful, & not very mobile, but other days are better & I am glad to be alive. Today I made the effort to take the camera out into the forest to make another video. I am glad I did, thoroughly enjoyed it & am left with the feeling that I have accomplished something.

You have some catching up to do with me Keith. I am now content to solve crossword puzzles, read a few books and watch the odd movie. The kind of active life that you lead and your interests are for younger people!
While I am (only) 65, life is going by too quickly. I’d like for it to slow down. Maybe I just need to stop working again. 😉

That is a call all of us with post retirement employment opportunities have to take sooner or later. I had to and I got off!
The only time life goes slowly these days, is when I’m waiting for the kettle to boil. The rest of the time, it’s speeding by!
The same thing happens to me STLF. Except that it is the boiling of milk that goes slow.
