Mike, I wonder how many of the younger lot today will remember! Remember his Twist?
Sure. He also has (had) a pretty spiffy road bus. Here it is on one of my old web pages: http://www.hawcreekoutdoors.com/mini002.htm

That road bus certainly attracts attention! Did you know that last year he sued HP over a matter of some humour?

Shanker takes a bow
The other Shankar, note the spelling, will not bow to me. How I wish that it had been you who had sent it to me!
Why puzzled? Just Marsalis’s take on Limbo jazz – I do find the makeup f his orchestra interesting.
Not puzzled Shackman. Just wowed! Stumped is a cricketing term.
I took it to mean puzzled as well. I guess I’m just not up on cricketing terms. π

Not to worry. Americans don’t play the game.

i’m a jazz lover and this group is great!
love how the brass pieces talk to the flute.
and how they mixed the indian instruments in.
wow.
this was a treat rummy! thanks.
everytime i listen to jazz now i think about what maggie smith’s
dowager countess of downton abbey said when hearing it for the first time…. “do you think that they know what each other are playing?”
LOLOL!

My pleasure entirely Tammy.
It’s always interesting and musically educating to hear two music cultures combine their talents in a piece like this! On the other hand, I never was much good at the Limbo but always liked the beat! π

There are two beats that mesmerise me, the limbo and the basso nova, Frankly, I prefer the latter.
