Non Stop.

non_stop_poster-620x356Just saw one of my favourite actors in an under-utilised film.  Liam Neeson was the reason that I chose to see this film as I am not particularly fond of action films.  His talents were not used to the extent that they could have been because the plot is loose and the twists and turns while not predictable, quite bizarre.

It is what I would call Time Pass.  Nothing more, nothing less.  I could have spent the time more fruitfully.

  1. I call those popcorn movies – and I too am a big Liam Neeson fan – he has become quite the action star. I’ll probably wait til it hits On Demand on cable and crank up the sound on my nice home theater system.

  2. i love liam neeson. that voice. and soft accent.
my favorite with him was one in which he was in the ensemble cast…
‘ love actually.’ a great little film.
i wish he would play something besides action films of late.
he’s still very much in grief over losing his beloved natasha.
perhaps the action films help him cope.
i’ll wait until he makes a non~popcorn movie.
    love that expression shack~my~man! cool!
and rummy… time pass. LOL. you guys are IT!
that’s similar to the old ‘where it’s at!’

    1. This is the problem with writing about movies. One thing leads to another and holes are punched into Ranjan’s inheritance. I remember Love Actually more for Hugh Grant than for Liam Neeson. Urmeela and I saw it together and she had a big crush on the former and did not particularly like Liam. I have just ordered for a DVD so that I can see it again. I shall send you a debit note.

  3. I had to look him up. I can’t even remember if I saw Schindler’s List — I listened to the audio book but can’t remember if I saw the movie. I can easily get it on Netflix if the mood strikes. As you know, I don’t like to sit. 🙂

  4. Looks like it is time for seeing movies. Oscars inspired? I will skip this one after your post. Today will be All is Lost, even if I hope it will not be that dramatic for me personally and that Robert Redford will survive his ordeal.

    1. Anna, my care-giving responsibilities kept me away from movies for many years and I am now catching up with the older movies as well the newer ones. With so many multiplexes near my home, it is quite a lot of fun to go to movies and with internet shopping quite convenient to get DVDs to view at home.
