This topic was suggested by Ashok for the weekly Friday Loose Bloggers Consortium where currently six of us write on the same topic every Friday. I hope that you enjoyed my contribution to that effort. The five other bloggers who write regularly are, in alphabetical order, Ashok, gaelikaa, Maxi, and Shackman and The Old Fossil. Do drop in on their blogs and see what their take is on this week’s topic. Since some of them may post late, like I do this time, or not at all this week, do give some allowance for that too!

Between you and me, it is just my short cut to glory!
well…
as a minimalist…
i am once again repulsed and mystified by people like the wife in this that is so hung up on a MATERIAL possession.
not that we shouldn’t be mindful or careful of what is gifted us…
but good grief.
i was thinking that he would perhaps find the watch when he picked up the baby… as in he’d left it there before when playing with her or something. the fact that it ended so abruptly… and with the game of peekaboo… interesting. i liked him. much more than i did the shrewish wife. i have a feeling HE alone in that couple knows where the true value in life lies.
and it’s most certainly not in a watch.

The punchline in showing how his entire universe changes because of the peekaboo game with the child is the beauty of the film. The story leading up to it plays out in many offices and homes every day over here.
