I have just returned from an out of town trip and realise how fortunate I am that I live in Pune. And to make it more so, my friend Shubha posted this on her facebook page.
I have lived in Pune for the past twentyfive years and I am a very happy person as are almost all the people that I know who live here.
Thank you Shubha.
I love my little town too! We’re both so fortunate. 🙂

Yes. That takes half the battle of living out of the equation.
That was a very short week. Were you afraid Manjiree or Ranjan would change the locks? * Runs away to hide!

You know them better than I do as do you me! Don’t run away. I returned before they could.
That’s a mighty big structure for a little town which I thought Pune was. Not like Calcutta. Whatever, it’s a great place to live.
That is the fortress used by Shivaji when he camped here during his campaigns against the Mughals.
I can never post enough!
It is great to love once’s place. I would say “welcome back” only I am not a Pune person. I checked few things on the internet though. It has very beautiful place.
That it is. Like any other place, it has its minuses too but, on balance the pluses win.
I love my town also so we are both lucky Ramana.

Yes, I know well how much you love your town too. Indeed we are.
Isn’t it wonderful to be happy in your circumstances. We all learn acceptance, but to have great pleasure in one’s surroundings is a gift which should not be take without great gratitude, I believe.

I agree. I am indeed grateful that providence brought me to this town and enabled me to settle down here comfortably. I do not have any relatives here and that should say something!
Hi Rummy,
Welcome back.
I have seen Pune on TV and I frankly liked it. It’s very beautiful and with a high quality of life there, no wonder Indians from Pune are the happiest :).
Cheers
