1. The partial eclipse here made the clouds a bit darker, but no complaints. We had a bit of rain, too!

   1. I know how badly you need some rains in your part of the USA. I hope that by the time you read this response, you would have had more than enough.

   Eclipse was a wonder — 89% here, had some clouds, but when the sun went behind the clouds didn’t need the eclipse glasses. The next eclipse here is April 8, 2024, when the path of totality goes right over us in Dover, Arkansas — solar eclipse totality: 4 minutes, 3 seconds.

   1. Yes, we are now at the tail end of our monsoon. In another fortnight, it will completely withdraw. I followed up in the media with many images of the eclipse.

5. I experienced a partial eclipse during the 70’s, and it didn’t change my life, or have any effect at all on me, so I’m unappreciative, I guess about all the fuss. I think I’m in the minority, though! Right now, Rummuser, we would love a bit of your rain! Send some over—the trees and flowers need it!

   Can you send some of the rain to Tamil Nadu?? Just returned from vacation to incredible India, except Tamil Nadu NEEDS rain!!

8. I enjoyed the eclipse experience though we had only 60%, but I followed across the country via media and tech.
