The Pune Rajgopauls took a drive up the Sahayadri Range to Lavasa to acclimatise the latest addition to the family, Chutki to long car drives.
The photograph is courtesy a waiter who obliged us while we were tucking into some delicious lunch. You can click on the photograph to enlarge it.
This photograph was taken by Manjiree.
It was a bright and sunny day and coming as it did following the coldest night yet this winter, it was a great outing.

Thank you Tammy. Posting that has brought a lot of mail and I intend writing another post giving the background about Chutki.
Either you spilled something or tammy is correct –
Both. I did have a couple of spots of sauce on my shirt. I had some amazing spaghetti with sauce and vegetables but the price I had to pay for eating with a fork was the spill!
You wimp! Sitting outdoors in a shirt for a winter lunch and you call that cold!!!!!! 😉 I was driven out for lunch too, It was grey, wet and very windy, I have a large bruise on my shin where the door blew back and hit me while trying to get out of the car. My walk-in bed – a coat filled with down and feathers kept the life in me. Tonight we are forecast 3°C, rain wind and a possibility of snow. Will I post you some real weather?????
PS. Great photos. Manjiree has certainly brought sunshine to your lives.

Grannymar, we have been getting up to direct sun and heat for a couple of days…it hardly lets up! A little breeze coming in the upstairs windows but mainly it’s just “heat” – thundery in the afternoon followed by heavy black clouds – then nothing not a drop!! Humidity not too bad IMHO…but sun, lots…

It was not cold there Grannymar. We have a peculiar winter. The night temperature was 6.8 C and it lasted well into the morning. It climbed up to a crisp 28 C by the time we sat down for lunch. I have also been having my share of disasters with the cold and the pup around!
Nice! Looks like a lovely outing.

It was SAW. The kids have been going on and off there with their friends and insisted that I go with them this time and I thoroughly enjoyed myself.
I haven’t been reading enough of your posts lately. I didn’t know you got dog! Awesome! I’m missing mine.

Your comment and a few mails that I have received post that post, drives me to write a background post on the pup. Await!
Having seen you and family on facebook, these two photographs are completely different in your facial expression – a great incite in to you as person…not forced, just a face we know through your words…

Thank you Cathy. In my family, in which I now include Manjiri, we tend to be very natural with each other and you will see this come through in all family photographs.
Great pictures! Especially of the grandpuppy. 🙂
