I made a thorough ass of myself by ordering for an expensive (about Rs.1500.00) book from Bookadda online. I placed the order on August 28. 12 and I was informed that they will ship it around the 27th of September. On 28th September they advised me that they have shipped it and gave me a tracking number. For the past nine days I am unable to access the courier company’s website to track nor are
bookadda customer service able to help me on phone except to say that they will revert soon. I finally found the courier company’s local telephone number and on calling them they inform me that the tracking number is invalid. Since this morning, bookadda’s telephone remains unresponsive to calls nor are my emails being answered.
Moral of the story, they have seen the last purchase from me and I hope my readers will be warned too.
I have given up hope of ever getting the book but will keep trying and at some point of time in the future will lodge a police complaint for fraud.
