Ten Questions.

Grannymar has an interesting post up in her blog where she has answered ten questions and has posed ten questions of her own for those inclined to participate in the round robin exercise.

Her Questions that I shall answer are as follows:

1. Your day so far, tell us about it in no more than ten words. Tea, breakfast, papers and crossword puzzles.
2. Who is your Hero? Simon Rajgopaul.
3. Describe yellow. Beautiful.
4. I’d walk a mile for ________. For good company.
5. Close your eyes, open a dictionary, and point to a word. Does your word mean anything special to you? Piquant. This exercise.
6. A song you can’t escape. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KTj5Nc5MvfQ
7. In five years, will it matter? I doubt that I will be around to worry about whether it does or not.
8. On a Wednesday, what is your routine? Exactly the same as with all the other six days of the week.
9. For dinner tonight, what would you like to eat? Fruit.
10.Who was the last person you spoke to? Ramesh Thakur two minutes ago.

If any of my readers want to try their hand at answering ten questions, here they are.

1. Do you believe in / follow horoscopes?
2. If you do, will you credit all your good and ill fortunes to the stars?
3. What is your honest opinion about blogging?
4. What do you think will be the outcome of the Syrian standoff?
5. Do you think that there will be peace in the Middle East in your life time?
6. Will China ever overtake the USA as the world’s greatest power?
7. Will we ever see 100% gender equality?
8. Will we ever have WWIII?
9. Will print media completely disappear?
10. Will we ever see all our children playing outdoors again?

  1. Thanks for the link. Interesting questions you set, I will deal with No. 1.

While staying with my sister last weekend, we were discussing something and she handed me the magazine from the previous week’s newspaper. I read the article and then browsed the other pages. When I came to the last page it was all horoscopes for that week. I threw it across to my sister and laughingly said, have a read of Pisces and see if it predicted my fall. She began to read and doubled up with laughter. It began with: It is all your fault…. We laughed so much that we went no further and I refused to read what was supposed to be in store for me in the current week!

  2. I find a horoscope can apply to anyone; it’s up to me to have a good life; blogging is a great way to make new friends; the Syrian outcome won’t be good; there will never be peace in the Middle East; no; no; no, people have had enough of war; no…

Ya got me with the word all, Rummy.

  3. 1. Do you believe in / follow horoscopes? I don’t believe them. But do follow them because they tend to be pep talk by a cheer leader, giving you hope in the face of adversity. I have yet to find a horror scope which will honestly, and accurately, tell me where it’s at tomorrow: Hell’s bells.

    2. If you do, will you credit all your good and ill fortunes to the stars? No. I credit and debit only myself.

    3. What is your honest opinion about blogging? Honest? …I love how people connect.

    4. What do you think will be the outcome of the Syrian standoff? I thought Shackman told us not to discuss politics in polite company.

    5. Do you think that there will be peace in the Middle East in your life time? How much longer have I got?

    6. Will China ever overtake the USA as the world’s greatest power? No.

    7. Will we ever see 100% gender equality? We already do. If only people weren’t so blind to the obvious staring them in the face.

    8. Will we ever have WWIII? No idea. Once boredom sets in who knows what we’ll do to entertain the masses and ourselves.

    9. Will print media completely disappear? Never.

    10. Will we ever see all our children playing outdoors again? Again?

    Inspired questions, Ramana.

      1. Yes, and no, Ramana. No doubt that electronic games are here to stay. Yet, I dare say if a child is given the choice between that and the outdoors they’d choose outdoors any time. Unfortunately, because so many parents are so overprotective (and lazy) they rather park their children in front of a screen than let them roam.
