Writer’s Block.

The pages are still blank, but there is a miraculous feeling of the words being there, written in invisible ink and clamoring to become visible.

~ Vladimir Nabokov

No, I am not about to write the next Lolita.

The feeling of the words is there but they are not flowing out on to the screen.

I am taking a break from blogging till the flow starts again.

Ill be back

  1. I know the feeling. My sails are full right now, but none of it steers me to blogging – and hasn’t for a few months. The words do not seek paper, but my life seeks action

  2. Well, I certainly understand.
I was just thinking of you yesterday because I’ve begun to meditate again, and I was remembering that you have a practice that’s been going on for a long time. One day, can you share how it works for you? Before or after morning tea, how long, what do you feel it does to/with/for you?

    1. Jody, I am delighted to see you back here. I hope that you will start to blog again too. I shall indeed blog about my meditation practice now that you have given me the idea.

      1. For some reason, there was a period of time when I could never post comments on any other blogs — I was hesitant about even trying today, but I’m glad I did. Seems to be working!

  3. Hey Rummy,

    Writer’s block: a writer’s worst nightmare.
I will patiently wait for the flow to start again, then. May your muse inspire you shortly :).
